Hello Mobile Money Startups!

We are almost half way through the year.  Can you believe how fast time flies?  From my conversations with many of you, I know that many of you are in the midst of developing and delivering cutting edge mobile money applications this year.  Keep up the great work!

If you are a startup launching a new mobile banking, mobile payment, or mobile money transfer service, I would like to hear from you.  We at Mobile-Financial.com and DonRiver Inc. are in the midst of planning the Mobile Money Canada conference.  Mobile Money Canada will take place on September 21st, in Toronto, at the Metro Toronto Convention Center.

We will be showcasing a few promising startups in the space at this year's conference.  If you are hard at work in the lab and would like to present to banks, mobile operators, remittance firms, and venture capitalists, please do send me a note at brent@mobile-financial.com.

We only have space for 4 talented companies to present, so in your note, please provide a detail description of your company and your mobile financial service offering.  The companies selected will be profiled on the Mobile-Financial.com website and our newsletter, and provided 7 mins onstage to present their functioning software – No powerpoint allowed!

And if you are interested in attending Mobile Money Canada, please click on the following link to request an invitation:  http://mobilemoneycanada.com/attend/2010

Cheers,

Brent
