What do Google and Apple have up their sleeves for Mobile Financial Services?

Sometimes one of the best ways to predict where a market technology will go is to do some research on what intellectual property the market movers are securing. This is almost like a 'crystal ball', if you will, into the future of what innovations might revolutionize the industry.

With Apple's iPhone and Google's Android dominating the current buzz in the smartphone space I thought it would be a good idea to look into what mobile commerce ideas these two heavy weights were filing for pattent applications.
