BPI divison head of transaction banking Nieves Basa said the Express Link Mobile brings the Internet platform to mobile devices such as smartphones and tablet computers.

She explained that Express Link Mobile allows users to check account balances and approve financial transactions such as fund transfers, payroll, bills payments, statutory payments to government agencies, payments to suppliers and collection instructions.
Security
To ensure security, Basa said a user is required to enroll his device for the Express Link Mobile and log-in with a user identification and password.
She assured that the mobile device does not store this information and that the app logs off after 10 minutes of inactivity.
