CellTrust SecureSMS Makes Mobile Payments Easy and Secure in Africa

CellTrust Corporation, a provider of SecureSMS for mobile phones, has announced that it showcased its SecureSMS messaging solution in the Mobile Money Hub at the AITEC Banking & Mobile Money West Africa conference in Nigeria.

Company sources added that it also highlighted the special features of its data-based and menu driven Secure Mobile Wallet.CellTrust's (News -Alert)SecureSMS platform is popular in Africa and it is being leveraged by banks and other payment system providers to meet new transmission channel security requirements of the Central Bank of Nigeria.

On February, 2010 the company launched its SecureSMS Mobile banking and Payment Pilot for the African region through a partnership with Maxim-Pro Ltd. based in Nigeria. The solutions offer consumers the ability to make secure mobile cash transfers, payments and also securely access other microfinance banking products.
