Ghana: MTN Mobile Money Expands - Services to Cover Payment of Domestic Airline Tickets

MTN Mobile Money subscribers who use Starbow can now purchase their air tickets through MTN Mobile Money. This service was unveiled during an interaction between MTN Ghana officials and editors in the Volta Region.

MTN Mobile Money subscribers who use Starbow can now purchase their air tickets through MTN Mobile Money. This service was unveiled during an interaction between MTN Ghana officials and editors in the Volta Region.

The forum was organised to brief journalists on new trends in telecommunications, the drive towards convergence, MTN's CSR initiatives, as well as the company's network coverage expansion projects currently underway in the region.

The forum was attended by editors and senior journalists from different parts of the region including Adidome, Akatsi, Aflao, Denu, Hohoe, Ho and Dodze.

Cynthia Lumor, Corporate Services Executive, said, "MTN Mobile Money is accessible, secure and life enriching and we encourage everybody to take advantage of it".

The purchase of Starbow ticket is a new addition to the Mobile Money portfolio of services. Mrs Lumor explained that the process involves customers calling Starbow on 18181 or 0245000000 for booking.
