Lloyds TSB launches bank balance by text

Lloyds TSB, part of the Lloyds Banking Group, is the first bank to launch a bank balance ‘on demand’ service by mobile phone text message for their current account customers.

The new service from Lloyds, called Balance on Demand, means customers can text a message and receive a snapshot view of their bank account, including the balance, straight to their mobile phone.

Customers who use the Lloyds Mobile Banking service can use their mobile phone to keep up to date with their finances

Lloyds introduce Bank balance by Text

Having mentioned a long time ago to Lloyds procurement dept. that this and a whole lot more could be done( as we are doing with Nordea Bank) it's good to see they've now taken a small step.
