FORMER Fiji residents living in Australia and New Zealand can now assist their families here through Digicel's newest service — International Bill Payments.

FORMER Fiji residents living in Australia and New Zealand can now assist their families here through Digicel's newest service — International Bill Payments.

Digicel yesterday announced that the additional service to the company's mobile money service would enable friends and relatives living in New Zealand and Australia to pay bills directly on behalf of subscribers in Fiji.

The new bill payment feature is available for Digicel Postpaid, Water Authority of Fiji, Unwired, Housing Authority of Fiji, Fiji Electricity Authority, Sky Pacific and BSP Insurance.

"Digicel International Bill Payments can be made online at www.digicelmobilemoney.com using a bank transfer or credit card. Payments made for bills in Fiji land directly into the mobile money account of the supplier within minutes. The new service is quick, simple to use and is a safe way to directly help families in Fiji.
