Vancity, the largest credit union in Canada, introduced a remittance program via Smart Money that will allow members in British Columbia to send for free as much as P40,000 (approximately C$950) until the end of January this year.

Members of the Vancouver City Savings Credit Union (Vancity) can quickly and inexpensively send money to their loved ones in the Philippines through Smart Communications Inc. (Smart).

Vancity, the largest credit union in Canada, introduced a remittance program via Smart Money that will allow members in British Columbia to send for free as much as P40,000 (approximately C$950) until the end of January this year.

During the promotional period of February to March 31, Vancity members may also send money back home to the Philippines for only C$3 per transaction. Regular rates apply after said date.
