T-Mobile launches mobile payments in Macedonia with Margento

T-Mobile Macedonia is pioneering as first in the Macedonian market to offer mobile payment solution to their customers enabling them to pay for goods and services in restaurants, coffee bars, shops etc. with their mobile phone.

T-Mobile embraced the Margento mobile payment solution.System is currently in a pilot phase, available in Experience café on the City Square in Skopje. It is expected the service to become available throughout Macedonia at the beginning of the next year.

T-Mobile Mac is also planning to introduce mobile payment service in markets, parking lots, petrol stations, pharmacies, taxies, etc.

The mobile payment for post-paid customers shall be charged to their monthly bill, while the payment pre-paid customers shall link their phone number to the bank account.
