VODACOM Tanzania's M-Pesa service continues to be the bridge between individuals, agriculture and business, according to the company's Managing Director, Mr Rene Meza.

Speaking during this year's Nane Nane launch, Mr Meza said M-Pesa service was a tool which would go a long way in assisting farmers and business people as far as mobile money transfer is concerned. "This is a service that has revolutionised our lives since its inception in 2008.

"There has been continued growth of M-Pesa in the country, touching almost every sector of this economy," says Mr Meza. He added that: "Through the Nane Nane Show, we aim to reach farmers and other business people to drive M-Pesa awareness through M-Pesa trainings, M-Pesa registration and give more emphasis on M-Pesa usage on facilitating payments through payment of bills and agricultural products."
