Digital payments firm to 'guarantee quality and security' for cards and m-wallets.

Last month, Deutsche Telekom announced work on a MasterCard PayPass platform comprising NFC cards and mobile phone tags, with the tools gradually rolling out to the operator's 93 million strong European subscribers.

Deutsche Telekom has now partnered Wirecard to provide security and reliability to payments across both the MasterCard offering and the forthcoming DT mobile wallet, set for a 2013 release.
